Interactive Drones

Aerial Robots (Drones) are currently being used in a wide range of applications which require only flying, like visual inspection, imaging and surveillance.
The next generation of aerial robots will be able to actively interact with the environment or humans. This will allow new applications like contact-based inspection, aerial cleaning and maintenance of hard-to-reach structures.

Our group, Robotics and Mechatronics (RAM) group from the University of Twente will display two drones,
One which is an aerial robotic worker capable of interacting and applying forces to structures.
The second is a prototype of an omnidirectional assistance aerial robot.
