BIOFABRICATION FOR FASHION AND FURNITURE

The course draws an overview of the techniques of digital fabrication (3D printing, robot fabrication, grow fabrication) that use living matter (bacteria, algae, fungi etc.) and that realize objects for different industrial sectors, from design to architecture and from biomedical electronics. New ways of conceiving and manufacturing objects that trace the frontiers of new manufacturing closer to the way nature conforms our environment.
