PHARMACEUTICAL AND 3D PRINTING

During the course, the process innovation that the 3D printer brings in the sectors of food integration and agriculture will be illustrated.
Furthermore, it will be presented Galeno, the new 3D printer for controlled release multivolumetric capsules, which provides interesting perspectives on the possibility of creating controlled-release vitamin supplements of substances in organic and non-organic environments.
The course will show how to move from the digital design of a capsule to its 3D printing.

Marco Abbro, osteopath and medical student, has been collaborating for years with specialized companies in digital manufacturing such as Meedarch and Mediterranean Fablab. Collaborates with Open BioMedical Initiative actively in the dissemination of lowcost biomedical projects for developing countries and the third world. Coordinator of BIOlogic, the first Biofablab of southern Italy, who with his projects received mentions and won the CNI Scintille 2017 award
