PoliTOcean - University R.O.V. Prototype

Our R.O.V. is a fully custom underwater drone with a robotic arm, remotely controlled from the surface that receives video and sensors feedbacks.
It has been designed by us engineering students with different techniques such as standard and advanced 3D printing techniques, CNC and soldering.

Team PoliTOcean - Politecnico di Torino

We're a student team born in Politecnico di Torino in 2017, with the aim to develop underwater robotics and communications with particular attention to the R.O.V world.
Our second generation R.O.V that we present here, participated this year to the international MATE ROV Competition in Seattle, USA, being the result of work developed by 20 engineers with different knowledges in mechanics, electronics and computer science.
